With a reflexive verb, the action is directed back towards the subject. The form si "to one self" is often attached to the verb and becomes part of the verb, i.e., myslet si (to think {to oneself})

Three types of "c" verbs.

I. učit se - to learn [učit - to teach. With se to teach oneself, i,e, to learn) The verb učit exists by itself. The combination has essential the same meaning as the verb by itself, ie, učit without se]
II. mít se - "to be doing. The verb mít exists without se. The combination has a totally different from the the single verb.
III ptát se - to ask. ptát dos not exist by itself; thus, this is is a pure reflexive verb

There is no good way to tell which type a se verb is. These have to be learned /memorized.

The se word is always in the second position in a sentence.
