Three types of "c" verbs.
I. učit se | - to learn [učit - to teach. With se to teach oneself, i,e, to learn) | The verb učit exists by itself. The combination has essential the same meaning as the verb by itself, ie, učit without se] |
II. mít se | - "to be doing. | The verb mít exists without se. The combination has a totally different from the the single verb. |
III ptát se | - to ask. | ptát dos not exist by itself; thus, this is is a pure reflexive verb |
There is no good way to tell which type a se verb is. These have to be learned /memorized.
